Ram Reman Ltd, a member of the Rotec Group, is pleased to announce a significant enhancement to its manufacturing and repair capabilities following the acquisition of new High-Performance Turning Centre.
This strategic investment marks a new chapter for the company, significantly increasing the complexity, precision, and speed with which Ram Reman can produce high-quality hydraulic components and bespoke engineered parts, including cylinders, manifolds, fittings and caps.
What this means for our customers
The state-of-the-art CNC machine is designed for maximum productivity. It features include a Y-axis and Live Tooling, which allows for “one-hit” machining. This means that complex milling, drilling, and tapping operations can be performed on the same machine, eliminating the need for multiple setups on different machines.
For Ram Reman’s customers, this translates to:
- Faster Turnaround Times: By completing parts in a single setup, production time is reduced significantly.
- Superior Accuracy: Eliminating the transfer of parts between machines reduces the risk of human error and ensures tighter tolerances.
- Increased Complexity: The Y-axis capability allows for the creation of intricate off-centre features that previously required significant manual intervention.
- Enhanced Capacity: With a 320mm turning diameter and extended bed length (LTY), the machine is perfectly suited for the large-scale rods and cylinders that are manufactured and refurbished at Ram Reman.
