Returns and refunds policy

Thank you for choosing Rotec. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.

If you are not happy with your purchase, please e-mail sales@rotec.net or call Alex Pounde on 01823 348 912 to discuss your problem, we will do our best to resolve any issues to your satisfaction.

Returns and handling charges

Any goods sourced on a customer’s behalf which are not listed within the Rotec Hydraulics Ltd catalogue are a subject to case-by-case evaluation of suitability for return/refund. Rotec reserves the right to asses such goods as non-cancellable and non-returnable and as such are accepted entirely at the customer’s own risk. Requests by you to return goods to us is subject to case by case evaluation and may be subject to a handling charge, depending on if all of the following criteria are met:

  1. the goods have been approved for return/refund by Rotec Hydraulics Ltd
  2. the goods are unused and are sourced from the Rotec Hydraulics Ltd
  3. the goods are in a resalable condition;

iii.         the goods were invoiced within 10 days of the date of return;

  1. carriage is organised by us – goods must be ready for collection within two days after a returns number is issued. We will only attempt to collect the goods once, goods must be made available for this collection;
  2. Items returned must be in their original packaging where possible, all instruction manuals and accessories must also be included;
  3. single line returns of less than £10 will not be processed;

vii.        any goods shipped outside of the UK must be returned to a valid UK address at your cost for us to arrange collection.

Handling charges will be levied as follows: goods invoiced within 10 days of the date of return will be subject to a return fee on all orders and either a 20% handling charge or £25, whichever is the greater. All goods must be adequately packed, please email sales@rotec.net for an address.

For the avoidance of doubt, returned goods will only be accepted if the above requirements are met. Rotec Hydraulics Ltd cannot accept responsibility for returns forwarded by customers using their own carriers.

Order cancellation

If you wish to cancel an item on back order, you must request a Cancellation Number from sales@rotec.net. Credits will not be processed without reference to a specific Cancellation Number. For the avoidance of doubt, items not listed in the Catalogue are non-cancellable and non-returnable. Once an order for direct shipment from supplier is in process, we are unable to either amend or cancel the request.

Refunds

If you are not happy with your purchase, please e-mail sales@rotec.net or call Alex Pounde on 01823 348 912 to discuss your problem, we will do our best to resolve any issues to your satisfaction.

Following the returns process, once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.

If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment).

You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.
