25/11/2009 Rotec Hydraulics announced as international winners by Parker Hannifin
South West based business Rotec Hydraulics has been awarded a prize fund of 500 Euros by Parker Hannifin. Rotec Hydraulics has 2 Parker Hannifin Technology Center’s based at its office locations in Taunton, Somerset and Plymouth, Devon. The prize fund was awarded to Rotec Hydraulics when they achieved exceptional sales targets of SensoControl® products. SensoControl® produces handmeters and complete measuring systems for use in the industrial area, mobile hydraulics and service or repair. The handmeters have been specifically developed for measurement and display of all hydraulic values and are renowned for their quality. The competition included stores from across Europe, with Rotec Hydraulics being the only UK winner. Joining Rotec in Europe’s top 5 stores were winners from Spain, France, Finland and Germany. The South West based company is investing the prize money in training two of its engineers. The engineers will attend a new Foundation Course being run by BFPA (British Fluid Power Association). The course entitled ‘Working Safely with Hydraulic Hose and Connectors’ aims to highlight and educate delegates as to the risks involved in working with hydraulic hose technology and teaches best practice techniques that will allow delegates to create safe working environments in their respective organisations.
